Deja vu all over again

I curse the lack of soft surfaces in this city. I curse my weak knee. I curse this sport.

My left knee appears to be buggered once more.

Ran a medium-paced 4.5 Tuesday and a slow 7.5 Wednesday. Felt aches during the latter. Ran about a hundred yards whilst pushing Kyla in her stroller tonight (to elicit happy squeals,) and felt sharp stabbing pains the likes of which I've felt - ooh, about two or three dozen times now over the past 5 years.

The tedium!!!

Yvonne, sorry to hear about the knee. Mine bothers me from time to time, even with soft surfaces.

I read Kathrine Switzer's book recently and she said she had knee pain and then started doing the "wall sit" - you know, where your put your back at against the wall and bend your knees at a 90 degree angle. After that she didn't have any more knee pain.

I've added it to my routine as it's something I can do when I'm just sitting around at night watching TV.
